Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases from Minimalistart. To arrange a return or make a complaint, email contact@minimalistart.eu. We will promptly provide a return label and instructions.

Personalised and bespoke products

We do not offer change-of-mind returns for non-prefabricated goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, where the statutory exception applies. This does not affect your rights if the goods are damaged, faulty, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the contract.

Choosing standard colours, sizes or accessories from our catalogue does not, by itself, remove your statutory right of withdrawal. The exception applies only where the legal requirements for a genuinely bespoke or personalised item are met.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please contact us if an item arrives damaged, does not work properly, is different from what you ordered or has another lack of conformity. Include your order number or another proof of purchase and a description of the problem. Photos of the item and packaging are helpful if available, but photos, original packaging and a courier damage report are not conditions for exercising your statutory rights.

For a lack of conformity covered by law, you may request repair or replacement free of charge. A price reduction or termination of the contract and refund is available in the circumstances provided by law, including a sufficiently serious lack of conformity. We bear the necessary collection, return, repair or replacement costs and provide the return label. You do not need to pursue the courier yourself.

Under Polish consumer law, the seller is generally responsible for a lack of conformity revealed within two years of delivery. We respond to consumer complaints within 14 days of receiving them. These rights also apply to personalised goods.

Standard products: 14-day right of withdrawal

Where the statutory exception does not apply, a consumer may withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. For goods ordered together and delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

To exercise this right, send a clear withdrawal statement to contact@minimalistart.eu before the deadline. No prior approval from us is required. Contact us to arrange your return label and instructions, and send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal.

For an ordinary change-of-mind withdrawal, you bear only the direct return postage cost. We will confirm any return-label cost with you before issuing it. Returns related to a lack of conformity covered by law are at our expense.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. You are liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning; we do not charge a restocking fee.

Refunds

For a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal, we refund the payments due, including the original delivery charge up to the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method we offered, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive them or you provide proof of sending them back, whichever happens first.

If you terminate the contract because of a lack of conformity, the refund is made within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of their return. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method that does not cost you anything.

Optional withdrawal notice

You can use the following wording, but it is not compulsory: “I withdraw from the sales contract for [product(s)], order [number], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name: [name]. Contact details: [details]. Date: [date].”

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, including equivalent protections for buyers to whom Polish law extends those rights.
